Jesse M. Godinez

Jesus “Jesse” Godinez of Arbuckle passed away on September 29 th 2022 surrounded by his family. Jesse was born on August 16 th 1956 to Juan and Emma Godinez. Jesse was the second oldest out of 7 siblings.

He was a lifelong resident of Arbuckle CA. Jesse graduated from Pierce High School and enjoyed playing football. He started working agriculture at a very young age and later in life he switched careers to a truck driver. Jesse was one of the hardest workers you would ever meet. He was the protector of his family. A caring man with a heart of gold.

He was always willing to give a helping hand and was a friend to many. He was a simple man who didn't ask for much as long as he had his family and friends he was happy. If you knew Jesse, you knew what a jokester and prankster he was. He enjoyed camping, having a nice cold bud light and visiting with family and friends.

Jesse leaves behind his wife of 47 years Janice; children Jesse (Cheryl) Godinez, Alicia (Jack) Schloesser, Elizabeth Godinez; 4 granddaughter’s Jessica, Jenna, Emma and Eliana; 3 sibling’s John, Rudy and Esther; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Emma Godinez; brothers Richard, Ruben, Salvador “Peter”, Gregory “Goyo” Godinez and numerous family members.

Jesse will be missed by many; he was the greatest guy in the whole world.
