Shipping Human Remains to Domestic Funeral Home
List of services included:
- Professional services of our funeral director and staff
- Transfer remains into our care by one or two staff persons
- Minimum use of facilities (covers our overhead cost)
- Refrigeration of human remains
- Embalming of human remains (Posted case has an additional fee of $400.00)
- Obtaining medical information and doctor's signature for death certificate
- File death certificate and disposition permit with county and state
- Scheduling of flight (Airline fees additional)
- Combination Unit per airline requirement
- Transportation to airport during business hours
(Airfare, transit permit, death certificates, and after hour transport to airport are not included)
NOTE: Additional charges apply to the following: coroner fees, post autopsy care, casket, zinc lined shipping container or outer shipping container, airfare, consulate fees, after hours fees, additional removal mileage, additional mileage to airport other than San Francisco, or additional death certificates.
