Noel Edwards Obituary

Noel Edwards, 78, passed away on March 6th, 2024, in Sacramento, California. He was a son, big brother, father, and friend. Noel was born in Denton, Texas and reared in the state of Washington. Noel’s work as a carpenter and businessman allowed him to travel and live in many parts of the United States. He loved building things, skiing, snorkeling, sailing, sports cars, and his cigars.

His father, Clarence Eugene Welfare, mother, Ella Louise Campbell, and stepfather, Robert Edwin Lloyd, all preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister Lindy Wellyn, brother Scott Welfare, son, Mark Lloyd, and daughter, Andrea Lloyd.

A special mention of gratitude to Big Phil for his decades-long friendship, and to Sam and Sammy for their support as Noel’s health declined. Noel was imperfect, loved, and will be missed.
